How much does it cost to hire a costume?
The full adult rate for costume hire is $83. This price includes wigs, accessories and footwear related to the hire costume of your choice. It also includes the cost for standard laundering of the hire costume on its return.
How long can I hire a costume?
Generally the costume hire period is 3 days. The costume is picked up the day before and returned the day after your event. Extended hire can be negotiated, but may affect the cost of the hire.
How much is the Security Bond?
The security bond is a totally refundable amount which is paid in addition to the costume hire cost at time of pickup. The amount may vary between $50 and $150. it is usually set at the same price as the costume hire charge. For example, hire $83 plus a refundable bond of $83. The bond may be paid by cash or card. Please be aware that the bond is refunded in the same method in which it was paid.
Can I place a costume on hold?
If you decide on a costume but for some reason are unable to confirm a definite booking, we are happy to hold the costume for up to 24 hours.
How do I book a hire costume?
Once you've tried on the costume and accessories and are happy with your choice, you may make a booking for up to 3 months in advance. We require a $20 deposit to book the hire costumes and accessories. This amount is deducted from the hire cost at time of pickup.
